The district administration informed that special medical camps for differently abled persons will be held in various parts of Tiruvannamalai district from December 4.
Tiruvannamalai District School Education Department and Disabled Persons Welfare Department are planning to conduct district level medical camps. Accordingly, on 4th December Tiruvannamalai Corporation Town Hall Middle School, Vembakkam Government Boys High School, on 6th December Kilpennathur Government Boys High School, Seyyar Government Boys High School, on 10th December Thandarampatu Panchayat Union Primary School, Anakkavur next Purisai Government High School. , Dec On 11th, special medical camps will be held at Chananandal Panchayat Union Middle School, Vandavasi Government Boys High School.
Similarly, on December 17 Sengam Sakayamata Matric High School, Tellaru Govt High School, on 18 December Pudupalayam District Resource Center (Government Girls High School), Peranamallur Govt Boys High School, on 20 December Kalasappakkam Govt Boys High School, Chetpat next to Palampet Government High School Special medical camps for differently-abled persons will be held till 31st December.
In the camps, activities such as issuance of National Identity Card for the differently abled, online registration for the unique identity card of the Central Government will be carried out. District Collector T. Bhaskara Pandian informed that they should bring the differently abled identity card with medical certificate, copy of Aadhaar identity card, copy of family card, passport size photographs 4 to the camp.
Suspension of Medical Camps: As medical camps are being held in various parts of Tiruvannamalai district throughout the month of December, the camp held at the District PWD Welfare Office premises on Thursdays is temporarily suspended. The District Collector said that the date of the weekly camp will be announced later.
